Home People's Federation Of The Philippines Inc.

The Slum Dwellers International’s (SDI) partner- affiliates in the Philippines is the Philippine Alliance, composed of the Homeless People’s Federation Philippines, Inc (HPFPI) and its intermediary support institution, the Philippine Action for Community-led Shelter Initiatives, Inc (PACSII). This document aims to provide the SDI inception team with a brief overview of the HPFPI and PACSII. The document starts by presenting the institutions’ salient features, followed by a presentation of the over-all development milieu in which they operate, and ends with a discussion of the development milestones of the HPFPI and PACSII in response and adaptation to the challenge of the times.
